Public Progress is pleased to work cooperatively with Element5, Ontario’s leading manufacturer of prefabricated modern timber building systems, to address the need for affordable housing in Ontario. Our role is to assist Element5 clients with development consulting,  entitlement approvals, community engagement, pre-construction project management and partnering with non-profit and municipal housing operators.

Element5’s building systems allow municipalities and affordable housing developers to meet stringent construction timelines, energy efficiency standards, and accessibility requirements, at a cost that meets funder requirements. Using prefabricated building systems also helps to de-risk your project.

Although modern timber buildings can be customized to meet particular site or client requirements, the best value option for non-profit developers and operators comes with the company’s standardized buildings in 20, 40 or 60 unit configurations. Smaller housing options are also available. Plans are available for greenfield or urban infill sites.

Element5 buildings are designed for emergency, supportive and affordable housing client-tenants. They also have packages designed for seniors and student housing.
